MANE MAN is an online lifestyle guide for men to discuss everything from hair to shaving, health and style. The site began as an off shoot of the natural hair movement and is meant to encourage men of all races and ages to share their experiences to find support for both hair and non-hair related issues. The website started after I decided to grow out my hair for the first time and experienced some emotional and physical changes. And, there are some pretty funny stories of my fro bouncing around the city that I now call home!I am a graduate of Teachers College Columbia University and hold masters degrees in psychological counseling. In both my professional and personal experiences I have witnessed how one’s image has distinct implications for one’s self esteem.
